This tactic is also used by companies who want to inform customers about limited offers so that they could buy things quickly because of fear of not availing this offer.

Metaphor and similes are comparison of two non similar nouns but the difference is the uses of words for comparisons, in metaphor we use “is” and in similes we use “as” or “like”.  Analogies is comparing two objects for similarities, hyperboles is over exaggerated statement, idioms are phrase that have different meanings than spelled, personification are figures of speech that treat animal, thing or concept like human being and symbol is representing a concept or idea with the help of an object or word like batman represent justice and superman represent hope.

    These are great tips for writing headlines. I am always trying to improve my headlines because I know that’s what actually gets people to open them.

    I actually use CoSchedule to help me come up with a headline that is catchy and sounds good. It isn’t always easy. In fact, I think I spend way too long on my headlines.

    I love those headlines that paint a picture. It helps me kind of see in my mind what kind of article I will be reading.
