Two Twitter Mistakes Which are Ruining the Newborn Bloggers

Ever since people have come to the light of Twitter marketing’s success rate, every blogger desires to build a personal brand. But most of them make two Twitter mistakes which ruin everything.

Despite having a decent fan following, people dream to have more. We are humans and a pretty sweet itching of tasting the sugar of success always strikes.

No doubt that everyone deserves to be successful but not using the unethical ways. Whether you choose Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn or any other platform, you have to invest some time.

Someone told me to buy more Twitter followers. I already have 30,000+ follower and it’s all happened because I never made two Twitter mistakes I am going to mention today.

Have You Ever Wondered How Twitter Influencers Got Millions of Followers

This is one of the most important questions before you start any kind of marketing on Twitter.

People always look for the results but they never even think once what and how much time was invested to reach such position.

Money can buy everything but not your personal brand. It can’t enhance what we all call having the respect.

#1. Follow More and Unfollow Even More than that

I have shared many articles related to Twitter growth and how people can get thousands of followers just like I did.

One of the most important steps is to start following others. I have also given an example of LollyDaskal who has 1 Million+ followers.

And she follows the same.

But the problem occurs when you start it the wrong way. If you monitor your Twitter account then you would know how many people unfollow you every single day.

“People are smart enough to kick your ass by using the Twitter monitoring tools”

You’re not the only one who has the thing called the brain, people do check who unfollowed them. The biggest mistake is when you try to keep your number of following zero.

Do you what happens when you do that?

Twitter suspends your account or it will appear as having the suspicious content which is considered as a spam.

You can easily find such account.

#2. Adding the Sponsored Twitter Cover Image

buy twitter followers

If you’re a regular Twitter user then you may have noticed many profiles having the same kind of cover image.

They will claim you to sell Twitter followers at the cheapest price. Have you ever wondered what do those people get just to have that cover photo?

Also Read:

Well, there are many companies which pay them just to add that image to their Twitter profile. And this is one of the worst two Twitter mistakes anyone can make.

When you start tweeting, you may have the energy to do it your own but once you don’t get many followers even after a year, you may seek such tragic ways.

You may get many Direct Messages offering you $200 per month just for their cover photo.

“This is the pit-hole newbies fall into and start ruining their personal brand”

Let me ask you a question.

What do you have in your mind when you start using Twitter?

  • Is it about driving the traffic to your blog
  • Is it about getting clients
  • Is it about building your personal brand
  • All of the above

It seems like a multiple choice question. Isn’t it? I guess it wouldn’t so hard to answer.

If you choose any of these answers, you wouldn’t find such ways to make money through Twitter. Twitter is a vast micro-blogging platform which can generate the business you can’t even imagine.

When I started using it, I never thought to work with the companies as their social media marketer.

But you know what, if you have the genuine followers, you can have the glory you always dream about.

The Question Arises as if what’s the best way to gain more and more followers

To be honest, I always tell people there is no magic trick to achieve your goal. I have invested many years to gain thousands of followers.

“Success kisses those who value Consistency”

Well, if you’re also someone who can have the patience and the consistency, you can definitely have the number of followers no one ever thought you would be.

Can These Two Twitter Mistakes Stop You from using Twitter

You may also be thinking if Twitter can permanently block you if you keep doing it. According to the Twitter algorithm, you can follow 2500 people per day.

account banned

But it depends on the ratio of your new followers and the people you follow. That’s why people start following.

It’s possible that your account can get banned forever.

And if you have ever studied the profiles which are selling the Twitter followers, they don’t really have so many followers.

So just avoid these two Twitter mistakes and start working. I believe in only one thing.

  1. Hey Vishwajeet,

I am glad to share the platform.

It’s always good to let people know what I have learned so far during my journey. Twitter has always been one of my favorite social media platforms.

I hope this can help the bloggers who want to start using it building their own brand.
    Thanks for the opportunity.

    Merry Christmas.

  2. Hi Ravi and Vishwajeet,

Thanks for sharing these Twitter tips, Ravi. When I started using Twitter, I tried using the follow unfollow me method. Thank goodness I didn’t stick with it long.

After doing that for a couple of days, I realized that wasn’t a great way to spend my time. So I stopped and haven’t used that method for any of my social platforms.

I’d rather have people follow me because they are interested in what I have to say. It’s just like growing our email list.

We don’t want to have a bunch of people who are not interested in what we have to say. Otherwise, those followers are not going to benefit us one bit.

Thanks for sharing these Twitter tips with us.

    Have a great day 🙂

    • Hey Susan,

It’s not just you, most of the beginners try to gain more followers using that method which finally leads to the account restriction.

I am glad you could make it to something legit.
      Have a great week.

  3. Wow Vishwajeet , I’ve never seen the Twitter cover images like that. I’m surprised Twitter doesn’t suspend them for just that!
I always tell people it takes time. You must be consistent on the Twitter Network. You have to give more than you receive.
The only program I’d recommend to gain a following if you really need is Social Quant – as they do follow and unfollow via relevant hashtags and by your actual account and such. I’ve used them from time to time on one account.
I hope you had a Merry Christmas and have a great new year in 2018! You too Ravi 🙂

    • Hey Lisa,

Such type of Twitter cover is so common these days. Many companies are trying to get the clients by adding some pretty faces.

Social Quant is also something people have been using for a while now. I never tried it.
You too have an amazing weekend.
